Motorcycle Sherpa Through Michael Lichter’s Lens

Michael Lichter may very well be the most legendary motorcycle photographer on the planet.

Since the 1970s, Lichter has been riding and photographing motorcycles and the culture surrounding them, documenting every aspect of the scene and preserving it for future generations. As the primary photographer for Easyriders Magazine, he spent decades building his reputation as someone who not only understood motorcycles but truly loved them — capturing the spirit, craftsmanship, and community that define the motorcycle world.

It has been an honor to welcome Michael on several Motorcycle Sherpa tours in Bhutan and Nepal. True to his reputation, his photographs capture the raw beauty of the landscape, the camaraderie of the riders, and the timeless spirit of adventure that defines every journey.
