Itinerary
ARRIVAL | DELHI
Land in bustling New Delhi where —like magic—our team appears, whisks you away, and deposits you into a comfortable hotel where jet lag is treated with showers, dinner, and the comforting knowledge that someone else is handling everything.
Overnight in Delhi.
Adventure loading…
DAY 02 | DELHI → LEH (3,500 m)
An early morning flight into the heart of the Himalayas kicks off the adventure. Snowy peaks outside your window get closer with every minute.
A private transfer brings you to your hotel where the only task for the day is acclimatizing and pretending you’re not already daydreaming about throttle and passes.
Dinner and overnight in Leh.
DAY 03 | LEH → LAMAYURU → ALCHI / KARGIL
170 km | 6–7 hrs | 3,510 m
Engines wake. So does the landscape.
Ride through lunar deserts, twisted rock formations, and ancient trade routes to the legendary Lamayuru Monastery—clinging to cliffs like it lost a bet with gravity a thousand years ago.
Lunch, curves, culture, and silence that feels spiritual.
Overnight in Alchi or Kargil.
DAY 04 | ALCHI → LEH
120 km | 3–4 hrs
A relaxed ride past Basgo Fort and the dramatic confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers—two mighty forces colliding like tectonic plates in slow motion.
In the afternoon explore Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, markets, and the growing realization that this trip is already something special.
Overnight in Leh.
DAY 05 | LEH → KHARDUNG LA → NUBRA VALLEY
125 km | 6–7 hrs | 5,359 m
Today we cross Khardung La—one of the world’s highest motorable passes.
Air gets thin. Views get ridiculous. Your inner child starts laughing inside your helmet.
Descending into Nubra feels like dropping into another country: green villages, sand dunes, and Bactrian camels that look mildly unimpressed by motorcycles.
Overnight in Nubra Valley.
DAY 06 | NUBRA → SHYOK → PANGONG LAKE
200 km | 7–8 hrs | 4,350 m
Today glid along the Shyok River: wild, remote, cinematic.
Diskit Monastery, dramatic valleys, and finally, Pangong Lake — a sheet of impossible blue stretched between mountains and sky.
Overnight in lakeside camps.
DAY 07 | PANGONG → CHUSHUL → HANLE
300 km | 7–8 hrs | 4,500 m
Remote borderlands. Vast plateaus. Silence so deep you hear your own thoughts echo.
We pass war memorials, high plains, and reach Hanle—home to one of the world’s highest astronomical observatories and some of the darkest, clearest skies on Earth.
Overnight in Hanle.
DAY 08 | MIG LA PASS (5,913 m)
This is what you came here for: to conquer the highest motorable roads on Earth.
This is not a ride. This is a bragging-rights ceremony.
The Likaru–Mig La–Fukche road takes us into air so thin it feels fictional. Standing at nearly 6,000 meters, you realize very few humans ever reach this altitude on two wheels.
Return to Hanle. Sleep comes easily. Pride takes longer.
DAY 09 | HANLE → UMLING LA → LEH
300 km | 7–8 hrs | ~5,800 m
Umling La has held the record for highest motorable road on the planet for years.
Ride between the Indus and Koyul Lungpa valleys, through landscapes that feel more Martian than Himalayan. Optional stop at Chumathang Hot Springs—because nothing says “extreme expedition” like soaking in warm water at 4,000 meters.
Return to Leh for a celebratory final dinner.
DAY 10 | LEH → DEPARTURE
You've ridden hard and conquered the mountains. Now let us take care of your private transfer to the airport to begin the journey home.
Taking a last look at the mountains, you'll come to a quiet realization: normal roads will never feel the same again.
