What to Bring
IN-COUNTRY WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS
Most airlines in India are limited to 30 lbs. of checked baggage so please travel light! Carry-on limit is 15 lbs. It's best to wear your riding boots and riding jacket on domestic flights. Support vehicles have limited space so please bring soft luggage that can be packed in tight.
WET WEATHER GEAR
The expeditions take place in mostly arid regions, but a rain suit is a must in the inevitable event of a pop up storm.
HELMET
Bring your lid. A US Federal DOT approved helmet is mandatory.
GLOVES
Riding gloves for both warm and cold weather are recommended.
JACKET & PANTS
Wear a comfortable riding suit, preferably with a removable layer for temperature changes.
BOOTS
You'll want the most comfortable riding boots possible as a majority of the expedition will be spent in them. They should cover the ankle and be waterproof at minimum.
