THE SECRET KINGDOM (COUPLE APPROVED)

A Motorcycle Journey Across the Kingdom of Bhutan

(Where happiness is measured nationally—and hairpins are measured personally.)

Some places you visit. Others change the way you ride, think, and breathe.

Bhutan is firmly in the second category.

Hidden in the Eastern Himalayas, Bhutan remains the last great Himalayan kingdom—mysterious, fiercely traditional, and refreshingly uninterested in rushing into the modern world. Here, ancient Buddhist culture lives comfortably alongside selective progress, monks share roads with motorcycles, and happiness is taken seriously enough to be measured by the government.

Exploring Bhutan by motorcycle isn’t just the best way to see it—it’s the only way that makes sense.

We cross the country on Royal Enfields, threading through misty mountain passes, untouched forests, dramatic valleys, and what might be the most zigzagging roads in the Himalayas. Every day delivers scenery that feels deliberately unfair to the rest of the planet.

As always, we take no shortcuts—not on food, not on lodging, and certainly not on logistics. Expect carefully chosen hotels and guesthouses, nourishing meals, professional support, and white-glove service throughout. You ride. We handle everything else.

THE EXPERIENCE

From tropical lowlands to sky-high mountain passes, Bhutan unfolds slowly—on its own terms. Fortress monasteries cling to cliffs, prayer flags ripple in the wind, and roads twist endlessly as if designed specifically to keep motorcyclists smiling.

You’ll ride remote backcountry routes few outsiders ever experience, visit sacred temples and dzongs, cross high Himalayan passes, and trek to one of the most iconic monasteries on Earth. All of it wrapped in a culture that is warm, welcoming, and quietly profound.

This isn’t a race. It’s a cross-country meditation on two wheels.
