RIDE TO THE HEAVENS

A Himalayan Motorcycle Odyssey | Nepal

(Warning: May permanently recalibrate your definition of “epic.”)

This is not a tour. This is a two-wheeled pilgrimage through the world’s tallest mountains, ancient kingdoms, and roads that occasionally ask, “Are you sure?”

We believe adventure should be raw—but never careless. Which is why we take no shortcuts on food, lodging, or logistics. Expect hand-picked accommodations, deeply satisfying meals, and Motorcycle Sherpa support so seamless you may forget how much work is happening behind the scenes.

That’s our white-glove service: everything handled, nothing rushed, and zero “character-building” discomforts disguised as authenticity.

Itinerary

DAY 01 | KATHMANDU VALLEY IMMERSION

Before we ride into the mountains, we ride into history.

Departing at 8:30 AM in a private vehicle, we explore three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Monkey Temple (where monkeys have absolutely no respect for personal space), Boudhanath Stupa (massive and mesmerizing), and Pashupatinath Temple (where life, death, and spirituality coexist—open-air cremations included).

This day sets the tone: humbling, fascinating, and unforgettable.

DAY 02 | KATHMANDU → DAMAN

121 km | 4–5 hrs | 2,322 m

We escape Kathmandu traffic (a skill in itself) and climb toward Daman. The road narrows, the bends sharpen, and the city chaos fades. On clear days, the Himalayas reveal themselves—Everest included—casually reminding us who’s really in charge here.

Dinner and overnight at a mountain hotel with views that make your phone camera work overtime.

Itinerary day image

DAY 03 | DAMAN → CHITWAN

210 km | 8–9 hrs | 415 m

We descend into the lowlands toward Chitwan National Park, home to jungles, rivers, and the endangered one-horned rhino—who, thankfully, does not ride motorcycles. The afternoon is at your leisure to explore town life and decompress.

We do not support elephant rides. Ethics matter, even on adventure.

Dinner and overnight at a hotel.

DAY 04 | CHITWAN → POKHARA

167 km | 5–6 hrs | 1,400 m

Heading north, the scenery shifts from jungle to farmland to foothills. By afternoon, Pokhara welcomes us with lakeside calm, mountain reflections, and just enough nightlife to remind you civilization still exists.

Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at a hotel.

DAY 05 | POKHARA → KALOPANI

130 km | ~5 hrs | 2,300 m

The pavement bows out, and the adventure steps forward.

River crossings, suspension bridges, terraced farms, and constantly changing terrain keep things interesting. Every corner delivers a new postcard moment—and occasionally a reminder to stand up on the pegs.

Dinner and overnight at a guesthouse where mountain silence replaces Wi-Fi notifications.

DAY 06 | KALOPANI → MUKTINATH

50 km | 4–5 hrs | 3,800 m

Short distance. Huge day.

Follow the Kali Gandaki River through the Lower Mustang region, crossing water, gaining altitude, and riding through landscapes that look more like another planet than a country.

Dinner and overnight near Muktinath. Sleep comes easily—altitude has a way of insisting.

Itinerary day image

DAY 07 | MUKTINATH → POKHARA

80 km | 6–7 hrs

With views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Tukuche, today’s ride delivers massive mountains, waterfalls, orchards, monasteries, and villages that feel untouched by time.

It’s the kind of day where conversation in the helmet slowly fades… because silence feels right.

Dinner and overnight in Pokhara.

DAY 08 | POKHARA | LEISURE DAY

You’ve earned this.

Walk Fewa Lake, sip good coffee, or launch yourself into the sky with paragliding, zip flying, bungee jumping, or ultra-light flights.

Tonight, we shift gears into comfort with a five-star hotel stay—because luxury tastes even better after dirt.

DAY 09 | POKHARA → NUWAKOT

196 km | 5–6 hrs | 1,022 m

We ride east before turning into quieter valleys. Red clay hills clash beautifully with the blue Trishuli River. Nuwakot appears like a secret—historic, remote, and refreshingly real.

Spend the afternoon wandering and connecting with locals.

Dinner and overnight at a hotel.

Itinerary day image

DAY 10 | NUWAKOT → KATHMANDU

72 km | 4–5 hrs

We explore Nuwakot Durbar, a 17th-century palace complex rich with wood carvings and stories. Then we ride back toward Kathmandu—traffic returns, but so does perspective.

Farewell dinner and overnight at the hotel.
