FRANCE - FDR PARISIAN PEAKS ADVENTURE

Arrival day and check in. Take an afternoon visit to the Eiffel Tower followed by wandering the streets of Paris, hitting a cafe or two, then a group welcome dinner. Paris doesn’t rush, and neither do we.

Overnight: Paris.

Early rise and French breakfast before hopping on the metro (Subway) to ride as a group to the Gare De Lyon. Take a relaxing ride on France’s world-renowned high-speed TGV train to Aix-les-Bains. Arrival in Aix-Les-Bains, lunch, then pick up the bikes for a test ride over to the hotel. This is a scenic train ride!

We'll wind through quiet country roads, picturesque villages, and rolling farmland before entering the heart of Burgundy. As vineyards begin to stretch across the landscape, we'll arrive in the historic city of Dijon — famous for its medieval architecture, world-renowned wines, and exceptional French cuisine. It's the perfect introduction to motorcycle touring through rural France.

Beyond Burgundy’s vineyards and château-dotted hills, the Alps begin to rise. Annecy delivers canals, a turquoise lake, and that first taste of alpine air.

Hairpin turns, alpine villages, glacial lakes — and then Chamonix, sitting confidently beneath Mont Blanc. This is why you came.

Cross into Switzerland and enjoy smooth roads, alpine meadows, and lake views. Lausanne blends elegance with energy on Lake Geneva’s northern shore.

As you ride deeper into the Swiss Alps you’ll encounter emerald lakes, sweeping passes, and postcard villages. Interlaken sits between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz like a grand finale.

A jewel-box day through Gstaad’s alpine glamour, then wind your way down to Montreux to enjoy some lakeside promenades, castle views, and Belle Époque architecture.

Glide back into France via the Jura Mountains: rolling hills, forests, and quiet villages dot the landscape. Besançon offers history, fortifications, and a welcome calm after a satisfying day in the saddle.

Our final day in the saddle carries us south through the rolling foothills of eastern France, with sweeping roads, forested valleys, and one last taste of the Jura and Alpine landscapes. As we approach Aix-les-Bains, the mountains and Lake Bourget provide a fitting backdrop to the end of an unforgettable ride.

You’ll hop on the TGV back to Paris where you can sit back and watch the French countryside glide past your window as alpine peaks give way to rolling vineyards, charming villages, and the beautiful landscapes of eastern France. It's the perfect opportunity to reflect on an unforgettable adventure through France and Switzerland before arriving in the City of Light. 

The train has a bar car so don’t forget to raise a glass to the roads, memories, and friendships made along the way.

Last Night in Paris (Bercy Village)

We choose Bercy Village as a final flavor of an actual Paris neighbourhood. It’s a charming pedestrian area in Paris’s 12th arrondissement, built around restored 19th-century wine warehouses. Its cobblestone lanes are lined with cafés, restaurants, boutiques, a cinema, and seasonal events.

It has a relaxed, village-like feel—quite different from central Paris—and sits beside Parc de Bercy, near the Seine and the Accor Arena. It’s especially pleasant for an evening meal, shopping, or a walk through the park.
